30/08/2026: A very attractive set menu. €51 for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. Refined, flavorful cuisine; the squab melted in your mouth. Clever touches like the cucumber sorbet. Warm staff, a quiet dining room, just steps from the shaded banks of the Lot River. A superb experience.

We went there at 6:40 PM, drawn in by the mouthwatering aroma wafting from the place.
The pizza chef was lovely; he welcomed us warmly and kindly.
He waited while we made our choices: a whole pizza for my wife with Roquefort and ham, a half ham and cheese pizza for my little monster, and a whole carbonara pizza for me.
He told us there would be a 30-minute wait, which gave us time to browse around.
When we returned, his place was packed (which is great, it's a sign of quality). I paid for our pizzas, and he showed us the pizzas, which were magnificent and looked delicious—not just ours, but everyone else's too (next time I'll get the merguez one; it looks amazing!). The chef is always so kind; he chats while making the pizzas. It's really nice, as a tourist, to be treated as more than just people who come to spend money.
We went home and tasted them because, even though they look beautiful, taste is still the most important thing.
They were very, very good. The crust is thin, and the carbonara, Roquefort, and ham pizzas have real ingredients; the pieces are there, and you can taste them—it's not just a few stray bits of ham. We paid €27 for 2.5 pizzas, which is very reasonable.
(€11 for two whole pizzas and €5 for a half)
We didn't stay long, but we'll definitely be ordering more pizzas before we leave because all three of us really enjoyed the experience and the food!!

We loved everything: the vintage decor reminiscent of bars from our parents' and grandparents' era brought back memories, the heartfelt home cooking by Hervé, the atmosphere and the communal dining room, and the warm welcome and kindness of the owner. Highly recommended!

24/05/2026: Catastrophic service from start to finish. We sat down, and the waiter took the order of customers who arrived after us. Then, we simply asked if we could have peanuts with our two beers; the (bald) waiter's curt and dismissive reply was: "No." Not a smile, not an explanation, nothing.
And the final straw came when it was time to pay: I'd already made the effort to go to the bar to pay, only to be arrogantly informed that they don't accept cards for orders under €10 (a convenient way to hide revenue from the taxman). The result: forced to pay in cash, like in the last century.
A pretentious brasserie with appalling service and haughty staff. If the goal was to drive customers away, they've succeeded perfectly.

29/05/2026: Never again. What a disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend it. The food is very disappointing and of poor quality. A ghost hotel. One person trying to do everything, while five people were staying overnight. The only positive point is its location.
But avoid it. A sinking ship, in my opinion.
16/05/2026: We stopped by early in the morning before continuing our walk on the Camino de Santiago. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast before setting off. Alain was always ready to help.

I'll avoid this shop from now on, given the poor service and the low quality of the products sold.
18/08/2026: The country bread is truly exceptional, and served with a smile despite the heatwave! Open late and all day, thank you! And the fruit tarts are really good! It's one of the best things about our annual holiday in Aveyron!

The portions are very generous, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the service is exceptionally fast. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and served efficiently.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for generous and tasty fast food.
06/06/2026: Waiting an hour for two tacos is unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend it, and to top it all off, the taco was burnt.

15/05/2026: Excellent welcome. The owner is lovely. He picked us up so we could comfortably complete the last few kilometers. The meal was also very good, and the breakfast was generous with homemade cakes.
I highly recommend it.
