I particularly enjoyed the homemade cassoulet. The service was quick; we were a table of 14. The price was very reasonable at €21.50 for a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee (without wine).

A wonderful experience! Everything was great. The welcome was friendly. The Royal cassoulet was excellent. Aperitif, main course, glass of wine, dessert, and coffee. Very good value for money.

This place is on a large square in the middle of the Carcassonne cite. We were not looking for a huge lunch but decided to have pizza which is unusual for us. Our pizzas were very good and delicious but we should have shared as they were huge. Not unusual but we just thought we were hungrier than we actually were. Our waiter was lovely despite being very busy. Lots of room to sit outside or inside. The loos were very clean also.

We discovered it by chance, and it was a stroke of luck.
