An unusual place. The tables are set under the large trees on the terrace. A swarm of waiters, dressed in the jerseys of the local rugby club, bustle about efficiently. They are charming and competent. A singer serenades us with a selection of jazz and romantic songs. We ate very well. Unfortunately, we ordered the pavlova. And that's where the trouble started. An industrial meringue with a scoop of sorbet and four slices of nectarine, all for €9.50!!!! What a shame, a real disappointment.

She is a truly kind and professional person who performs her job perfectly. Well done to all the young people who have taken over this establishment! We came for lunch on Thursday and had the €26 set menu, which included a wood-fired grill 😋 and was very generous and high quality. We'll be back, hoping to be able to eat outside, as the only downside was that it was a bit noisy inside. I recommend it.

I went there with friends just for a drink, and the place is great! The staff is welcoming and friendly. I'm not from Carcassonne, but I'll definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

First of all, the setting is superb, a perfect blend of modernity and the building's history. We ate very well, exactly what you expect when you come to eat here: excellent ingredients, quality meats cooked to perfection over a wood fire, and delicious side dishes! Special mention goes to Arthur's (the restaurant's chef) chocolate mousse.

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!
