Speaking of the Brasserie alone: very good, home-style cooking, a welcome change from the pretentiousness of many other restaurants in Albi. Whelks and prawns with aioli for starters, followed by a delicious veal sauté with olives, and a fruit mousse to finish. All for just over €20. A glass of good Gaillac wine, €4.50.

Our group of eight hikers, finishing the GR trail, stopped here. Comfortable rooms, hearty and delicious food at a very reasonable price; I recommend this establishment.

Gaby, the caterer, was fantastic: a sumptuous buffet served at a private residence.
The food was varied and delicious, the presentation perfect, and the portions generous.

Arrival to live music from an orchestra.
Tapas and ice cream evening.
A superb breakfast for €8 – you don't find many at that price anymore.

The room wasn't particularly charming, but it was clean.
The towels were clean and pleasant to the touch. The bathroom had a nice touch: a hairdryer and a box of tissues.
I would definitely stay here again if I return to Albi, as it's ideally located with paid parking nearby.

We went there for lunch. The setting is unpretentious, but don't be fooled, the food is good. Many dishes are homemade. It's fresh and tasty at a reasonable price. Special mention goes to the pasta carbonara and the omelets with (homemade) fries.
