The value for money is clearly lacking. The €39 set menu (starter/main course) is expensive for a brasserie, and the €10 dessert option offers no real benefit. The service is the main weakness: a cold welcome, visibly stressed and rushed waiters, the feeling of being rushed rather than truly attended to, and no advice offered, particularly regarding wine selection. The meat was indeed well-cooked, but served cold, which is hardly acceptable at this price point. Overall, the experience feels rushed despite the food being decent in substance.

Excellent sauerkraut served in a casserole dish (be warned, it looks small, but that's deceiving!), generous with meat and cabbage, for only 25 euros! For dessert, the tiramisu, a Black Forest-style twist, was really quite good. The brasserie decor is very cozy, and the service (even if it took a little while to get going) was very friendly. A very pleasant experience; our neighbors were also delighted with their meals. We'll definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu if we return to Metz.

Very disappointed. I'd heard nothing but good things, so we were looking forward to a seafood sauerkraut that was very average and traditional, without even juniper berries. The half lobster was bland, I think it had been defrosted, and had no taste at all.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The decor is stunning, with its high ceilings, wood paneling, and the waiters' dress code reminiscent of elegant Parisian brasseries. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The divine crêpe Suzette was a delightful surprise. The only slight downside was towards the end, when the restaurant was packed and the waiters were a bit overwhelmed. But it wasn't a disaster. We were offered a complimentary digestif as we left (the menu board was quite impressive), so it was perfect. A great place, we'll be back.

Always a delightful experience, the menu is exceptional, the dishes are exquisite, and the staff's wine recommendations are always excellent. And the staff is truly attentive.

Our last two visits were a very pleasant surprise; we loved the decor and ambiance of this magnificent establishment, the welcome was perfect, and the cuisine was excellent. A special mention for their commitment to locally sourced ingredients – well done to the whole team!

Having learned that this establishment now operated as a tea room and offered the prestigious Mariage Frères range, I decided to go for a tasting. Despite the "closed" sign on Google Maps, I took a chance and was glad I did: tea service is actually continuous. The welcome was warm, even though I arrived at the end of the lunch service. I was able to appreciate the extensive tea menu while the last lunch customers were leaving. However, despite signaling my request (the menu was closed on the table), I had to wait 20 to 25 minutes before my order was taken. The tea I chose was excellent, perfectly complemented by an assortment of delicious Christmas cookies. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the brewing process, thanks to the charming hourglass provided. As a fan of homemade hot chocolate, I was disappointed that this option wasn't on the menu. The service remains excellent, and I will gladly return! My suggestions for improvement: - Update the opening hours on Google Maps. - Reduce the wait time for orders. - Offer hot chocolate, preferably homemade.
