Brasserie Le Belena sur Beaune

Nice restaurant, fast service and very pleasant staff! I recommend the sea bass fillet and the virgin sauce.

Friendly welcome, respect for the staff. It was very busy and they were working their feet off. Escargots were tasty, the bavette was unfortunately not good and it was a shame there were no fresh fries. The fish was good. We sat at a table in the middle and it was very noisy. If the tables were not in the middle, this would improve the service. Perhaps we arrived at the wrong time.

Excellent food and a perfect waiter who was friendly, discreet, and offered great advice.

We always return with great pleasure whenever we visit Beaune!

An experience beyond our expectations From arrival to departure… We appreciated the warm welcome from the entire team, especially the manager. As well as the efficient service, particularly from Ismail… No waiting… And a setting that is both modern and authentic. The restaurant is decorated with great flair. Thank you 🥰🙏

A lovely little restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had a great time in a friendly setting, with a charming little terrace that was very pleasant. A nice place for a simple and enjoyable meal.

Good food and an extensive wine list. Plenty of options and our group all enjoyed their meals. We picked this restaurant, as an online search suggested they were good for group dining. Our waiter was lovely, but there was one older waiter on the night who sat our group at the table and quite clearly did not like us and came to tell us off like children (after we had already eaten starters and mains, and bought wine we had to pay for). There was also a table of 3 old men who complained we were too loud, so perhaps not the best place to go if you are with a group. We were sat inside and there was loads of room outside on the terrace, so I’m not sure why the table who were bothered did not move. We were 12 people in total. Small groups up to 4-6 might be ok and tables of 2 are welcome. We had starters and mains - all tasty. We were going to order dessert, but left earlier because of the old men who complained. Would have loved to try the creme brûlée otherwise. It was upsetting and put a dampener on the first night of my 40th birthday celebration which was a shame, but luckily we didn’t have issues with any of the other restaurants where we ate in Beaune and there are no shortage of options elsewhere.

Incredible restaurant. The menu is varied, with lots of good French options. Service is fast and friendly, even as a foreigner. We've been twice. It might be busy, so book a table in advance.
