Excellent food, especially if you love meat. Very good wine list. I really like this restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere, especially near the fireplace where part of the meal is prepared.

A lovely dinner at this small restaurant specializing in Charolais beef, with very welcoming, friendly, and smiling staff, dishes that will make your eyes water, meats and wines to die for, and desserts that finish the feast on a divinely sweet note. As a lover of wood-fired meat, I highly recommend this establishment.

We recently dined at this establishment. Overall, the meal was decent, and the fries were very good. However, the ribeye steak was clearly undercooked (we requested it rare). The meat was good, but a proper sear would have allowed its full flavor to develop. I pointed this out to the waiter constructively, especially since I myself have been a restaurateur for many years and specialize in exceptional beef. This kind of detail really makes a difference when serving a piece of meat. Our bill came to €156. We were therefore quite surprised to leave without even a goodbye or a word from the owner. It's a shame, because with a little more attention paid to cooking the meat and welcoming the customers, the experience could be significantly better.

We discovered this restaurant by chance during our stop in Beaune. We hadn't booked and there were seven of us... A very warm welcome, delicious food, and a fantastic team!

Excellent restaurant! The service is truly outstanding: professionalism, great advice, and always a smile, which is much appreciated. 28/03/2026: A very welcoming brasserie serving excellent food. The service is quick and efficient. The staff is friendly and attentive. During the week there's a set menu offering excellent value for money, but generally speaking, the prices are more than reasonable, including for drinks. Passing through the area, we went twice in two days. It's best to book ahead or arrive right when they open.

21/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We left with a big smile 😃. A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, and a delicious meal. A nice bonus: the chef and owner is a young motorcyclist. Highly recommended!
06/03/2026: [March 2026] Once again, a delightful experience—even better than last year, confirming that this is a must-visit for us. The egg-free chocolate mousse, made with a siphon, is remarkably light: the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. We also commend the chef, passionate and generous in sharing his tips, as well as his colleague, whose wine pairing recommendations are very insightful and perfectly tailored to individual tastes. Well done, and see you very soon. [March 2025] We've been coming to Bistro des Cocottes for over 10 years. A new chef has taken over the restaurant, and the dishes have a fresh flavor! Special mentions: the subtle peanut flavor in the escargots, the incredibly light poached egg in red wine sauce, the crispy fries, and the Reuilly wine 😋😋! And always a wonderful atmosphere!
