Brasserie Le Bossu sur Paray-Le-Monial

We had lunch as a group of three and ordered duck breasts. The meat and sides were very good, with the duck breasts cooked perfectly and served with a delicious cranberry sauce. We finished with a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) which included an apricot tart—not really in season, and the pastry was a bit too white, but still acceptable—a crème brûlée—with a wonderful texture—and a brownie with crème anglaise—the brownie was a little dry. The service was pleasant. The major drawback: we had to eat with our coats on because it was so cold! We'll gladly return... but in the warmer months!

We've had lunch at this restaurant several times and are always warmly welcomed. Last night was Beaujolais Nouveau and Pot-au-feu night. It was perfect: hearty, hot, and quick. The dessert was average, but for the price of the meal, it was excellent. Thank you to the staff and the kitchen.

What can I say? Thank you for the delicious and generous cuisine, the warm welcome, and the very professional service. The plates are generous. The cooking is masterfully done. Excellent lunch!
