Brasserie le Metropolitain sur Roubaix

I've known this place for years. It's my adopted Kabyle family in Rabat, and the two brothers who co-manage it are fantastic. I most often order a rare flank steak with shallots and fries. A sure thing. Never disappointed, and I'm quite demanding, being a former bistro owner myself. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, with a team that takes excellent care of its customers, who are often friends. Go without hesitation. Hope to see you there sometime, dressed in my Viking garb.

Always such a warm welcome. The food is hearty and delicious, made with quality ingredients and homemade. Just 5 minutes from the Roubaix swimming pool, Le Métropolitain is a comforting stop.

Excellent lunch spot with attractive dishes. Good atmosphere. You can easily eat in 45 minutes.

A typical brasserie menu, but with quite tasty and good food. Quick and very friendly service (we had a minor mishap with a trainee who didn't take our order, but as soon as they realized, everything was incredibly fast). Definitely a great choice for a meal.
