I'm revising my previous review.
The lunch was very good, but the descriptions were misleading. We were served two rib-eye steaks instead of two prime ribs. I don't mind paying the price, that's not a problem, but a prime rib only 1 cm thick and boneless is dishonest. Just admit you don't have any; it would be better. What I was served was a rib-eye steak, not a prime rib.
I'm the son of a butcher; I grew up in a butcher shop.
It's a shame because the meat is very good, but it's not honest.

Had a delicious meal. Raclette. Waiter very friendly and attentive. Checked regularly to see if everything was in order.

Overall, a good experience at the brasserie "Le National" in the center of Chamonix. The service was pleasant and quick. However, there was very little turkey in the Savoyard escalope; it was more like a bowl of cheese and mushroom sauce. It was tasty, but there were only four or five small pieces of escalope. The Caesar salad and tagliatelle carbonara were quite good.

There are outdoor tables, and the atmosphere is nice.
I ordered the barbecue, and they set it up in a single dish for two people, allowing you to grill various meats (duck, chicken, beef) and vegetables. You can dip the meat in the sauce, but since it can be a bit greasy, I recommend eating it with a vegetable salad. Perhaps because I am Korean, I think it would have tasted even better if I had brought a tube of gochujang (Korean chili paste).
