Not very cozy and definitely too loud in the dining room. It's not necessarily the owners' fault, but they could pay a little more attention.
Luckily, we didn't have a set menu. The melted cheese slice was okay, a bit bland. The onion soup lacked depth, was rather watery, and five slices of baguette in the small cup are simply three too many. It's not supposed to be bread soup. The cheese on top was alright. Everything was edible, but nothing more.
A little more care in the cooking, along with some herbs and spices, would certainly help.
We have no complaints about the service.

This is a French restaurant located on a bustling street in the heart of Chamonix.
The weather was nice, and although I didn't look inside, the atmosphere seemed good.
I had lunch there, but the main salmon dish seemed rather bland.

The food was average for an exorbitant price... The waiter made a mistake with our aperitif order and tried to blame us. Honestly, a slightly longer, but much better, fine-dining restaurant would be far superior for the same price. Disappointing experience.

Excellent experience at Brasserie Le National in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc! We ordered a fondue for two, perfectly accompanied by croutons, potatoes, and a salad. Everything was delicious and generous. A big thank you to the manager who kindly agreed to replace the charcuterie with halal chicken, a very much appreciated gesture. Top-notch service, I highly recommend it!

Terrific French onion soup and a huge portion of a scalloped chicken and ham casserole kind of thing. Chocolate cake for dessert was scrumptious. The waitress kept talking to us in French when it was clear we didn't speak it. It seemed rude.

A warm and very pleasant welcome. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
As for the food… wow! Everything was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to the chef and the entire kitchen team.
My friends and I ordered burgers, pizzas, and meat dishes: everything was excellent and perfectly prepared.
I highly recommend this restaurant; you won't be disappointed!
