We've found our new favorite restaurant! Every time we come to Chamonix, we stop by Le National and always order the same thing: the Savoyard escalope, which is simply incredible! 🤤
On our first visit, we asked the waiter for a recommendation, and he suggested this dish. Since then, we've never been disappointed! It's truly exceptional, a real treat every time.
A huge thank you for this wonderful discovery and for the quality of the food. We highly recommend it and will be back again and again! 😍

The restaurant offers a wide range of local products, with generous portions, at great prices. It is located in the central square of the resort, a fairly crowded area, but with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is worth trying the Savoy escalope with cheese fondue, a highly appreciated local specialty.

The chicken burger was nice, but the bun was bigger than the chicken! 😅 The pasta was very tasty and the portion was good. The Margherita pizza was beautiful, better than Italian pizza! 🙃

Unfortunately, we had a rather disappointing experience at Le National restaurant in Chamonix. We encountered several problems with our meal: we found a piece of plastic in the cheese, the fries weren't cooked enough, and the chicken was unfortunately very dry.
However, a special mention goes to the waiter, who was absolutely lovely, professional, and attentive. He did his utmost to help us and clearly made our experience much more enjoyable despite the issues we encountered. Thank you to him for his warm welcome and kindness! 😊
It's a shame about the food, because the service was truly excellent.

We ordered a pizza, which was good, and we also ordered French fries with cheese, but the waiter made fun of us and told us to go to McDonald's to get them!
They have fondant cheese and could easily add it to the French fries, but we were surprised by his reaction. 😷 We didn't like the waiters' service. 😷 We saw they had tiramisu and wanted to have coffee there, but the waiter's condescending attitude made us pay and leave the restaurant.
