Brasserie Saint Laurent sur Chalon-Sur-Saone

I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at a reasonable price. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. The kitchen is open to view; it's family-run, and I'd gladly return.

A complete work of art. At lunchtime, a diverse crowd gathers, from American tourists to French tradesmen. The chef works tirelessly in full view of everyone – the kitchen is visible – processing the orders. So it can take a while. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable, as the atmosphere was excellent. The food is solid. The service was efficient but friendly and efficient.

I highly recommend them. Perfect service, pleasant staff. I will return on my next visit to Chalons.

What can I say except that we had a very pleasant time? Thanks to the natural kindness of Marion in the dining room and Sébastien, the charcutier turned chef. Everything was perfect: friendliness, a warm welcome, delicious food, high-quality ingredients, and more than reasonable prices. Without a doubt, like this stop between Belgium and Narbonne, we will return to Brasserie Saint Laurent on our next trips.

A wonderful discovery! 😊 From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel at ease: the place is warm and welcoming. The service is top-notch, especially thanks to Marion, who is pleasant and particularly attentive. As for the food, nothing to complain about: the dishes are beautifully presented, delicious, homemade, and generous! An address I recommend without hesitation!
