A delightful culinary surprise! This welcoming restaurant, recently taken over by new owners who are as charming as they are friendly, is definitely worth a visit. You'll discover generous portions of food prepared with quality ingredients, all in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The menu offers delicious new flavors at unbeatable prices. Special mention goes to the lasagna, which is absolutely incredible: melt-in-your-mouth tender, flavorful, and simply divine! The chicken with crispy fries is also a real treat, as are the various sandwiches on offer, which are generous and perfectly filled. A friendly place where you can eat very well without breaking the bank, run by passionate and incredibly kind people. One thing is for sure: we'll be back!

First experience, very happy with the discovery. We arrived just before a group of high school students, so naturally the service was quick, but even they were served promptly, and in less than 5 minutes we were back in the peace and quiet we had found, which was very pleasant. The managers were very kind and friendly. The prices were excellent, €12.50 each for a superb full meal. Personally, my lasagna was very good and piping hot, and the panini was also very good. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

I loved the lasagna and the chicken they offer; I can't wait for the couscous to be available. The staff is very welcoming, and the food and the establishment are remarkably clean.

L'ÉPI ET L'ÉTOILE has completely transformed! The new owners have done a phenomenal job: it's no longer just a place to grab a quick bite, but a proper restaurant with original, carefully prepared dishes, each one different from the last. It was already good, but now it's incredible—a successful metamorphosis that's a real pleasure to see and taste!

18/08/2026: I went there on a Saturday at lunchtime with my family. We ate on the terrace. It was very busy (reservations recommended). The decor in the main dining room is pleasant, and the terrace is spacious and shaded. The menu is varied, and the prices are reasonable. The servers are very helpful and friendly. We started by ordering three mocktails (good, but a bit too much ice) and Maroilles cheese croquettes as an appetizer. The main courses arrived quickly (a little too quickly, in fact, as we had barely started drinking our cocktails). We ordered three salmon, avocado, and mango tartares with fries and salads. The fries were excellent, and the tartare was also good, though it lacked a bit of freshness. The ice-cold sparkling water was very refreshing. Finally, we ordered two desserts (chocolate-hazelnut tartlet and exotic ice cream) and three coffees for later (they arrived too early, just after we'd been served our unopened desserts).

10/01/2026: A real treat!! Meals donated to SAMU 59 for a shift… it warmed my heart and it was excellent!!! (Pesto prawn salad and garlic stir-fried beef with Thai rice, perfect!)
