Café well known to Lyon residents. It is a shame that it is not mentioned, except near the cash register (small piece of paper), that the credit card is only accepted from 10 euros!

Iconic café on Place Bellecour, headquarters of many artists as evidenced by the walls decorated with drawings and paintings. The Bellecour café has retained its charm and its regulars, just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the square. I love the terrace on sunny days!

Simple menu and the plates are just as simple. You shouldn't look for anything superfluous in the composition of the salads: salad and cheese, nothing more... for Saint Marcellin's Day. The same goes for the baked Camembert, which is not very filling, but it must be recognized that it is offered at €16. The service was friendly.

Typically Lyonnais café and restaurant. It's a perfect place for lunch with simple but quality cuisine or for an afternoon stop. Pleasant atmosphere on Place Bellecour with many regulars but also foreigners looking for authenticity.
