The price was reasonable. The food was good but not exceptional. The setting was certainly pleasant, and the service impeccable, worthy of a Michelin star. However, the soup was lukewarm, and the leeks, while beautiful (luckily, there was walnut wine vinegar to add a bit of zing, so I bought some – a nice discovery), were a letdown. The trout was barely warm, the venison well-cooked, and the endive too – so what? The adapted tiramisu was still just tiramisu. Had I invested too much in the name? Had I expected too much?
Of course, it was €43 plus wine. It's not expensive. Well, not for everyone.
A shame.

It's always a great pleasure to return to Café Bras. The setting is magnificent, and the cuisine is refined; we never tire of coming back, always enjoying perfectly executed dishes. What distinguishes good restaurants from great ones is consistency and excellence. Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Rodez, considering everything.

The welcome was perfectly adequate.
The value for money is poor.
45 euros for a disappointing meal. Going to "Bras" I expected a certain level of quality, which wasn't there. Before visiting the museum, choose another restaurant, because the museum itself is worth seeing.
