Nice atmosphere and lovely decor. You can eat inside or on the terrace. The food is very good and the staff very friendly. There was a bit of a wait, but that's normal in high season. There are options for vegetarians (vegetarian cassoulet). There's also an affordable "actor's menu." I ate there with a friend. She had the cassoulet. She liked it. I recommend it.

A small restaurant on a charming street in Carcassonne, run by two very friendly young people, with impeccable service and a warm welcome. The set menu is very affordable (€16.50 for a main course and dessert), and the food is simple. The fish and chips were very good, with aioli sauce and homemade fries. The butcher's cut was only average in terms of cooking, which is a shame... Otherwise, no complaints, thank you to the servers!

A restaurant with its original decor, run by a young and dynamic team. "Careful, it's very, very, very hot!" That's Océane warning the customer when she serves the cassoulet. She should also say, "It's very, very, very good." The price is very reasonable. This is a restaurant you should know about if you're ever in Carcassonne. Many thanks to you.

The cassoulet was simply excellent, the duck was delicious, perhaps a touch too tender, but exquisite nonetheless. The flageolets were perfectly cooked, and the sausage was spot on! The service was a little slow, but it didn't bother us. We had a lovely time at Café de la Comédie!

A Sunday in Carcassonne was all it took for us to stumble upon this gem: very affordable, seasonal produce, a very warm welcome and service - we love them!!

We were looking for a place to try cassoulet to celebrate the end of our trip through the south of France with a special dinner. We'd seen that it was served in every restaurant in the walled city, but we wanted to try it off the beaten tourist track in a more authentic setting. We had a restaurant with good reviews noted down that said it was on the menu, but when we arrived, it wasn't listed. Disappointed, we decided to head back to our accommodation when we stumbled across this place that did serve it. We sat down without hesitation, as it's right in a pedestrian area, they serve several different types (traditional, duck, vegan, etc.) at very reasonable prices, and the atmosphere is lovely. It certainly didn't disappoint, and the staff is very attentive. I definitely recommend this place.
