A very warm welcome... a very friendly team. The baby squid are delicious!!! Don't miss them!!! Thank you.... You can also try (when available) fresh anchovies from Hondarribia... and wow!! A delight... you won't be able to resist!!!

A delicious dinner that made for a very pleasant experience. The ingredients were fresh, high-quality, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The staff was lovely! A place to remember; we will gladly return.

A very well-located and pleasant restaurant. We appreciated the neat tablecloths and napkins. The food was appealing and cooked to perfection. One drawback was the choice of langoustines at €30 with no side dishes. The welcome was mixed, with two very friendly waitresses and one, undoubtedly the manager, who was very surly and refused to bring bread at the very beginning of our meal! This was unprecedented for us restaurant professionals. It needs to change, as it's a real shame...

Simply superb, perfect team. You'll appreciate the friendly, family-like atmosphere of the staff, which is so refreshing. I can't even begin to describe it, it's so good. The decor is lovely. We'll definitely be back.

A superb discovery! Café de la Plage is a true little slice of paradise. The atmosphere is both warm and relaxed, perfect for enjoying quality time with friends or family. The service is impeccable: friendly, attentive, and quick. The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented—a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds! Special mention goes to the view and the decor, which make you want to stay for hours. I recommend it 100%!

A truly beautiful place, incredible cuisine, a real treat, a very warm welcome, and attentive service. I recommend it 100%. We had dinner there last night and are returning tonight, and I'm keeping the address for my future stays in the area. Thank you again, and the 5 stars across the board are well deserved. 17/10/2025: I think there are some crazy people who write reviews! We were expecting to walk into "Fawlty Towers" and intrigued by the challenge...we were greeted as soon as we entered by a friendly guy smiling widely. Everything was fresh and well stocked and he was proud of his goods - rightly so! Nice coffee and croissants ate in and lovely bread and Basque gateaux to go. He didn't speak English, he's French and our French is poor...our problem, not his. They start early AM baking, if you're gonna turn up late in the day and expect a full range, that's a you problem and if you are concerned that your bread is still warm when you buy it, then you are definitely crazy!
