Café de la Table Ronde sur Grenoble

Tried the ravioles and poulet dishes. Good atmosphere and nice food.

A very pleasant place, quality dishes with very good products. Very reasonable prices The service is fast, you feel that the servers know their job and are smiling. We will come back on our next visit

Very good service and good food

At my humble level and opinion, I can say that everything went very well, reservation, table service and quality of dishes for our small group of 17 guests. Perfect.

La Table Ronde is one of the oldest restaurants in France, dating back to 1739 and it is located in the heart of Grenoble’s old town in a nice quiet square. The restaurant specializes in traditional French cuisine, with a focus on local Alpine dishes, giving you a true taste of the region such as Gratin Dauphinois or Ravioles du Royans. They also have two kids menu’s. Under 6s for €9 and kids up to 12 for €12. The food was good, and good portion sizes too. What I loved about this restaurant is the value. The have a two course menu for €20. The mountain charcuterie starter was perfect. And the wine was very reasonably with an extensive menu. We had a bottle of Beaujolias for €24. It has a cozy, authentic atmosphere, with wood-paneled walls and a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s perfect for a relaxed family meal. It also has a bar next door.

We came several times, and we had several problems such as very dirty glasses.. A forgotten card that we had to request several times. An oversight on the order... we asked for extra fries while ordering the dishes. When we received our food, we noticed that the fries were missing so we asked again, and we received them at the very end.. Several trips from the server to bring us the sauces, water and missing cutlery. (we had to ask several times..) Otherwise the dishes are excellent, the atmosphere too and the servers are very nice and they apologize several times for forgetting them.

Good place to stop and have a beer. In our case we had a beer and a cider and we were great. In the center of Grenoble. Good prices. It caught our attention that the place was called "round table cafe" and had few tables like that :)

Uno dei pochi posti aperti dopo le 14. Il posto in una bellissima piazza è unico. Locale antichissimo e storico. Servizio rapido e prezzi ottimi

Très belle expérience dans ce café restaurant historique de Grenoble. Plats régionaux savoureux et copieux. Personnel attentif et service rapide. Un moment très agréable devant l'ancien palais de justice. Nous y reviendrons pour la tarte aux noix !
