Café des Félins sur Besancon

A really lovely place. Very quiet. The owner is very dedicated and puts in a lot of effort. The cats are so cute.

I highly recommend this place; it's a quiet location.

We had come to visit Besançon and its citadel. We happened to stumble upon this café, which immediately piqued our curiosity. After passing through the entrance and listening to a flurry of explanations, we entered the lair of the cats and their owner. A delightful experience awaited us: a truly authentic Viennese hot chocolate and decadent XXL cookies... just like some felines! 😂 Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

We stumbled upon it and rang the bell. The place is beautifully decorated, very quiet, the welcome was very friendly, and the products are high quality. A lovely spot for a moment of absolute serenity.

Superb coffee 🐈‍⬛😍😍 It's time I came back

We were very lucky to get to visit it without reservation. We loved it!!! But the next day we wanted to go back and found it was full for the following 15 days!!! We hope to be able to visit it again next time if we ever come back to Besançon… And don’t miss the cookies, delicious!

A truly wonderful café in a beautiful, rustic building. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The café is very cozy and charmingly decorated. The cats are very well-groomed and clearly feel at home. Everything is very clean, and we didn't see a single cat hair, which wouldn't be a problem for us in a cat café. We had drinks and a mixed platter, and everything was delicious. The cats were very friendly! All in all, it was a perfect visit! Thank you so much! P.S. The cats even had their own water glasses. ☺️ Reservations are possible and recommended, depending on the day and time. The rule that children under 12 are not allowed makes sense for the cats' sake. We've been to other cat cafés, and this one was by far the best. ❤️

A very cozy place to have a coffee or a snack! 🍵 The cats are very friendly, but they go about their own business, so it's better to go there to chat than to pet them! ☺️ The waiter was very busy as he was working alone, but he was friendly :)
