A very nice restaurant in Cherbourg with excellent cuisine. Worth discovering.

The food was entirely homemade, using only fresh ingredients: we loved it! A really great place, simple and efficient, which I recommend without hesitation.

If you appreciate originality and hospitality, I highly recommend this restaurant. Fresh ingredients, creative pairings, and originality. The staff are incredibly pleasant, smiling, and friendly!

We had lunch one weekday at Café des Halles, without knowing it beforehand, and everything was perfect. Beautifully presented dishes, a thoughtful approach to flavor combinations without straying too far from good French cuisine, delicious 🥳, generous portions, all at reasonable prices considering the quality, fresh ingredients, and everything homemade – except for the bread. Kudos to the very friendly young chef who told us he opened this small restaurant near the market halls, right in the city center, less than three years ago. We wish him every success. Personally, I'll be back as soon as I have the chance to visit Cherbourg.

We were able to request vegan meals (by asking 4 days in advance), and they were delicious! They were original and seasonal! There were so many flavors combined with such finesse. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Rabbit on a bed of vegetables and polenta. Very delicate and tasty. I highly recommend it. Fast service with a smile. It's perfect.

Very, very good. We had a choice of two homemade dishes, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were greeted by a very pleasant person. We were just passing through, and we didn't regret it. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Café des Halles. We came for lunch one afternoon and found the cuisine to be subtle, thoughtful, and generous. All the products are homemade with local producers. The atmosphere is charming and the service friendly. Go for it!
