We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and beautifully presented food, so we came two nights in a row. We enjoyed a glass of Monthelie wine, all in a lovely setting with a friendly owner. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, especially the set menu. And reasonably priced too. A typical, old-fashioned French brasserie without any pretension. Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. The coq au vin, my favorite dish, was delicious.

A very good, comforting lunch in the middle of a 60km bike ride. Starter, main course, dessert for under €20, served on a quiet terrace. Highly recommended.

Recommended: Coq au vin or Boeuf bourguignon with a beer for approximately €20 p.p. Salad, bread, and water are included in the price. The service is somewhat formal.

L'Alambic

02/07/2026: Great location (5 mins to the old town and a quick walk to the vineyards) and friendly staff. Rooms could use a bit of renovation and the mobile A/C cooling the rooms is loud and not very effective. Ina. Hot summer day, bring earplugs!
01/04/2026: Super clean and a good breakfast. Highly recommended for a stopover.
