Jean-Jaques and brother Pierre and their team are brilliant, reflecting brilliant food and drink. Worth coming to France for, just for their bistro. Can't recommend it enough. And prices are reasonable.

28/11/2025: I wandered into this place on a grey, rainy November afternoon in Nuits-Saint-Georges and instantly liked it. Inside, it’s warm and quiet. A cosy tea room with a surprisingly rich selection of teas served in proper kettles instead of cheap bags. Simple, artisanal, and exactly what you want when the weather turns. The staff were friendly, the kind who make you feel like you’ve been here before. Parking right at the door is a pain, but a larger lot is five minutes away, so no drama. If you’re following the Grand Cru route and need a break from wine, this spot works beautifully. Honey, teas, sweets to enjoy on the spot or take home, plus a calm corner to breathe. I’d happily return, especially on a cold day 👍
