I'm not giving it 5 stars solely because I found the wait a bit too long. Even though it was Sunday lunchtime, market day, and we arrived quite early (11:50 am) and therefore "ran into" the café/brasserie with people leaving the market, I think an hour for one dish and one coffee is rather long.
Otherwise, the staff are really friendly and the food is good quality (andouillette for me and fish and chips for my wife).

A wonderful experience at Café du Commerce! We were greeted by Marine, who was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive.
My girlfriend and I were there with our little dog, and Marine even spontaneously brought him a bowl of fresh water in this heat. A thoughtful touch that was truly appreciated and shows the care taken with customers, including their four-legged companions.
Thank you for the warm welcome, we'll definitely be back! 😊

A beautiful and very peaceful place. The food (daily special) was delicious and the service excellent. It's located opposite the castle entrance.

The meal was excellent, and the drinks were too, but above all, the service was fantastic. The waiter offered us a complimentary drink and managed everything single-handedly with a large number of customers, all with a smile. Thank you!

Friendly service. There were four of us. For charcuterie to share, four cocktails (with and without alcohol), and coffees, we paid almost 50 euros... everyone is feeling the effects of the price increase. We won't be able to come back. Luckily, we shared. 😌 The fish and chips was good. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert, and having to miss out on it because it contains alcohol is disappointing. It used to be better.

Fantastic, exactly what you're looking for in a town like Meung-sur-Loire: no frills, no fuss. The food is perfectly executed and delicious. The servers are incredibly attentive, offering a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere! A genuine café/restaurant with traditional French charm.
