01/09/2026: The ingredients were genuinely good and fresh, but the pizza dough itself wasn’t the best — a bit disappointing compared to the quality of the toppings. Another issue is that the staff don’t speak English, which can easily lead to misunderstandings and receiving something different from what you ordered.The open-air part of the restaurant also needs more attention: it was covered with pigeon droppings and feathers, which makes the outdoor seating far less pleasant than it could be.Overall, the place has potential thanks to the good ingredients, but several important details should be improved.

07/09/2026: I'm not giving it 5 stars solely because I found the wait a bit too long. Even though it was Sunday lunchtime, market day, and we arrived quite early (11:50 am) and therefore "ran into" the café/brasserie with people leaving the market, I think an hour for one dish and one coffee is rather long. Otherwise, the staff are really friendly and the food is good quality (andouillette for me and fish and chips for my wife).

06/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome at the **Café du Commerce in Meung-sur-Loire**. The servers were very friendly and the service was truly excellent. However, we were very disappointed with the food and especially the value for money. For the price, we clearly expected better quality. In other brasseries at the same price point, you generally find fresh ingredients and much more refined cuisine. I ordered the **fish and chips**, and unfortunately, it was truly disappointing. The fish lacked quality, and the fries, which were clearly not homemade, were really not worth the price of the dish. It's a shame, because the welcome and service were very good. With better quality food, the experience would have been very different.

03/02/2026: What a disappointment! I wanted to surprise my husband by inviting him for a weekend. Seeing that their website mentioned the restaurant was closed in November, I emailed the hotel to ask if I could also book dinner for two people that evening if I booked a room. I received confirmation that I could book with the restaurant, which I did through their website. I received confirmation of my order, which included one room, two breakfasts, and two restaurant reservations. What a disappointment when, upon arrival, the restaurant had been closed for two months! As a result, we couldn't find anything open in the village on a Sunday evening. The surprise was completely ruined since we couldn't have dinner. It's a shame because the website is nice, but from our arrival to our departure, we didn't encounter a single person. Furthermore, the €15 breakfast was outrageous, as there was no hot milk, just a small croissant and a pain au chocolat – in short, disappointing in an unheated room. Naturally, I sent them an email, but received no reply, not even an apology. So I reported it to Logis de France, who informed me that they no longer work with them; however, their logo is still displayed on their website.

21/01/2026: A good inn where room and board are provided in a traditional style, with the added bonus of a pleasant atmosphere and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
