Set back in a small alley from the city center, this creperie is really excellent! The pancakes and crepes are generous, for very reasonable prices! The room, with its exposed beams on the ceiling, is very pleasant. Everything is run by a charming lady, who will know how to take care of you! I highly recommend stopping there for lunch, to immerse yourself in a very friendly Breton atmosphere.

Cafe du Commerce

04/04/2024: There was room when we came at 8:30 p.m. on a weekday. Very good store-bought burger
26/03/2024: The Café du Commerce brings us back to the atmosphere and decor of the 1950s/1960s. Very warm welcome, friendly waiters who serve simple but very good food. The kidneys are excellent Congratulations to all. I recommend this place.

Le Relais Louis XI

03/03/2024: I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but there were a couple of big items that let it down. Firstly the good points: The hotel is an old beautiful building, as such the rooms are interesting and it is a joy to stay in. The checkin was very clever as we were given a code which we entered into a machine and it spat out our key, but this did mean we didn’t get to meet anyone, which was a little disconcerting. Now the things we didn’t like: The breakfast was lacking, the pastries were dry and there wasn’t an awful lot of choice, considering we had been to many other hotels for less and they had provided more I thought this was a bit of a shame. Also workers who were working on our floor started work at around 8am for a hotel I think this is a big no no, as guests like to relax and get up in their own time and work shouldn’t start until at least 9 or 10. I left both of these points in the suggestion box so they could hopefully action them. Other than this the location is pretty cool, and the place is steeped in history.
16/02/2024: I don't rate the rooms, we didn't sleep there. On the other hand, the restaurant welcomes warmly in a bucolic setting and on this very romantic Valentine's Day. The meal served according to the event. We had the Valentine's Day meal as a foie gras starter (too bad the chef put coarse salt in the decoration, he should remind people that they are not allowed to have it) that is the only thing to say about everything the meal. My husband had the fish and I had the veal filet mignon, nothing to say except that it was so good as a soft chocolate soufflé dessert. I recommend this restaurant for lovers of stone and wildlife because spending a night in the hotel on the banks of the Loire must be great when you wake up in the morning.
