A wonderful stop on our way back from Château de Chambord. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and enjoyed attentive, friendly service throughout our meal. The buffet featured delicious homemade French specialties with plenty of authentic flavors and fresh dishes to choose from. A charming brasserie with a welcoming atmosphere — highly recommended if you are in the area.

You'll be welcomed by the jovial and knowledgeable owner at this excellent, family-run self-service restaurant, offering delicious, typically French dishes at reasonable prices: sweetbreads, beef tongue, pork ribs, mussels, and more, accompanied by a variety of sauces and vegetables. The homemade touch is evident even in the desserts (the chocolate mousse is incredibly tasty) and the various tarts. The food is excellent, and it shows in the lively atmosphere, which is warm and welcoming. They also host live music with interesting artists. If you're passing through Bracieux on the castle route, don't hesitate to stop at this friendly restaurant where everything will be done to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I highly recommend it, as did the 2026 edition of the Rough Guide.

You'll be surprised by the owner's warm welcome; he's on a first-name basis! Whether you like it or not, I appreciated the friendly, family atmosphere. They also provide a bottle of water and a baguette. The meal is served buffet-style with a wide selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Very reasonable price. A very pleasant experience in this small village.

You absolutely must stop by the Café du Commerce in Bracieux. Admittedly, don't expect gourmet cuisine. It's more like home cooking, truck stop fare. But with all-you-can-eat appetizers, main courses, cheese, and desserts at a low price, you can't be too demanding. The welcome and service are very friendly and definitely not stuffy 😄 It's worth a visit. Since a review is only valuable if it's sincere, I will, however, mention that I didn't enjoy the mussels.

Good experience. All-you-can-eat buffet with starters, main courses, cheese, and desserts, offering a wide variety of choices for each course (it's hard to choose! 😅). The food isn't exceptional (don't expect gourmet cuisine), but it's good quality and very homey, you could say "just like home cooking" or "like grandma used to make," which is exactly what you'd expect from this type of establishment. Friendly atmosphere. Nice vintage touches in the decor and the mismatched antique tableware. The manager's warm welcome immediately sets the tone for the place.
