We first stumbled on this excellent canal-side restaurant in July 2024 and had an excellent dinner with wonderful tellines persilade to start with and followed up with fillet of turbot also very good. There's a strong emphasis on fish and seafood here but not exclusively so something for most tastes. The chef is talented, knows his craft and prepares fresh innovative dishes presented with flair and care. So good was gthe first visit we stopped again now in September for lunch...lovely moules buchot followed up with a blanquette fo homard and sole. The desserts can be both tempting and dangerous! Try the Frozen Gin - with cucumber sorbet.....brilliant. Nice friendly service and a chef who takes pride in his work. This is a keeper!
Good restaurant. Quiet on the edge of the canal. The cuisine is refined and the fish is excellent. The chef and table staff are very friendly. To discover and encourage 😉

Still a pleasure to sit under the big fig tree. The menu is a little confusing. What are the appetizers? What are the main courses? Extras? Set menus? We ordered excellent appetizers or whatever looked like appetizers. An overly full plate of very nice mussels with ham, very good foie gras and a strange Vitello Tonnato:Very good veal with a nice tapenade, but where is the tasty Tonnato? With it we had some excellent, reasonably priced white wine. The main course, excellent beef and very good and well prepared fish was accompanied by good, but undercooked vegetables. The desserts were rich and excellent but I was looking for a simple, fruity dessert.
A fully successful meal for all, except that by now the price was over €50 per person, with 3 main courses consumed. Unfortunately no details were presented and the bill had to be paid at the till. Next time I will pay more attention to the prices. But there will be next times!
