Good restaurant, very popular judging by the crowds, and excellent value for money compared to others. The staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Café Gaby! The location is perfect, a bit busy since it's quite central, but that's part of the charm if you want a local atmosphere in a lovely setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; we ordered two salads from the menu, and they were both delicious and generously portioned. We also had desserts, which were excellent and, again, very generous (I couldn't even finish the crumble, even though it was delicious!). We'll definitely be back as soon as we're in Lourmarin.

A very popular and busy café and restaurant. No set lunch menu, but they offer reasonably priced combination platters. We had fried anduillette and burgers, both with good homemade fries and salad, followed by the Charlotte with strawberries for dessert. Everything was good and plentiful. Although it was very busy and the staff seemed stressed, we received friendly service.

Without a doubt the best of the best of the best. We have been coming here as a family for years and it is always so consistent: brilliant service, delicious food, and the best atmosphere in Lourmarin. Undoubtedly the most wonderful restaurant in Lourmarin and the wider area. We cannot recommend more highly. A restaurant very close to our hearts that we love so much, and one that welcomes all.

Lovely dinner and dessert and fabulous & friendly service. We had 5 teens/ kids with us and the waiter was patient & cute with them.. perfect service & wonderful recommendations. My fave was the white fish w veg & the strawberry tartlette for dessert. Generous portions & great options for all. Also can’t beat the beautiful atmosphere and people watching. 5 stars Merci! ❤️

12/06/2026: A place of rare tranquility and serenity in Lourmarin. What a wonderful discovery! Tucked away in a narrow street, we found this little porch and, charmed by the place, we enjoyed the shade while sipping excellent tea. Great advice, a lovely spot away from the crowds—in short, a timeless moment that did us good.
11/06/2026: Away from the hustle and bustle in a back street, a nice tearoom, delicious cheesecake, and plenty of choice. The decor is cozy; personally, I would put some comfortable chairs on the terrace. But that's just me.

La Louche a Beurre

20/07/2026: The place is cute and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the outdoor tables further out (like ours) were on the sidewalk, and even though there were few cars passing by, the location felt a bit exposed. Overall, good service and a good menu, although unfortunately, the crepes (egg and onion) didn't satisfy us: the amount of pepper was excessive and overpowered the other flavors. A little more generosity in the white wine served by the glass would have been appreciated, as it was scant and definitely below average for a standard restaurant glass. The coffee was good.
19/07/2026: The locals love it here and we know why - the food is divine, the vibe is relaxed and fun and the staff make you feel like you’ve been invited into their lounge room or private joke. The sirloin steaks were among the best we have ever had (and we’ve had a lot!) and the food is not overpriced. The assiette for dessert is big and perfect for sharing! Sitting outside is lovely when the weather is fine. A must visit for your stay in or near Lourmarin.
