I ate twice in this brasserie opposite the Palais des Papes in Avignon. The daily specials are good value for money. Friendly welcome. A safe address in Avignon for lunch without breaking the bank.

Pleasant break before going to attend a concerto at the Palais des Papes. The charcuterie board is very good. Thank you to our server (the Asian gentleman) for his kindness and friendliness. (for others it leaves something to be desired…)

Thank you to the very pleasant gentleman who welcomed us very late, for good reason, no one wanted to make crepes in Avignon anymore (apparently it is too hot, the weather this evening did not say the same...) In addition, very friendly and pleasant, and above all very humble. Impeccable service (deserves a raise 😉!). Good to you!

Arriving in Avignon after a long day's travel, we just wanted to eat, so headed to the square by the Palais des Papes. Cafe In & Off is very much a tourist eatery but offered good food nonetheless. Entrees and desserts were uniformly good, and the service was bright and friendly. It's location is stunning!

We enjoyed lunch under umbrellas in front if the Popes Palace, and found the food acceptable and the price consistent with other places in the busy tourist district. Our waiter was efficient and hard working, the daily special a generous portion (grilled fish, escargot and veggies). The plates being delivered to neighbor tables looked good too. All in all, a nice lunch. I'd go again.
