The food was good. There was something for everyone, including vegetarians. The outdoor terrace had a lovely atmosphere. On warm days, the steam was refreshing :)

I highly recommend this very friendly restaurant. The prices are affordable and the quality of the food is excellent. Thank you for this pleasant moment in the cool shade under the misting fans, which is a real plus during this heatwave.

The food is not as bad as some reviewers make it out to be. For small town standards, the food was about okay. Italian options will get you more quantity. I got a fish dish, could be tastier - it is alright. Apparently, none of the restaurants nearby are all that either.

I can't understand the bad reviews. We received excellent service. The mussels were delicious with their broth. Changing the side dish to ratatouille and adding more bread was free of charge. We were very satisfied.

Not a huge portion for a big eater like me (chicken escalope with cream, mushrooms, and fries), but it was still good, well-cooked, and reasonably priced. The current 1.6 rating doesn't reflect reality.

18/08/2026: I'm giving this place five stars, hoping to redeem it for everyone, but it's a total disaster. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic, greeting customers in various languages ​​to create a perfect atmosphere of friendliness. The menu listed coffee as 2 euros. After two coffees arrived, the waiter didn't ask for payment immediately. Normally in France, you pay before the food, but here the food comes first, and you pay after you touch it. Then came a mixed coffee. I was so shocked I didn't dare drink it and quickly paid to leave. The bill came to 7 euros per cup, 14 euros for two. Arguing with the cashier was pointless; he insisted it was 7 euros per cup, 14 euros in total. In conclusion, the menu prices are misleading. You only find out how much you owe when you're about to pay, and the resulting disappointment might make you hate Avignon forever.
08/08/2026: Fantastic welcome, great atmosphere, misting system on the terrace, fast service, excellent food. The only slight downside was the bagged salad, which wasn't great. A big thank you to the whole team for your joie de vivre! 😜

19/08/2026: Obviously, this isn't a gourmet restaurant. The bill is a bit high, of course, because we're seated on the terrace overlooking the Palais des Papes. But the food is quite good, and the service was quick and pleasant.
18/08/2026: Despite a decent meal, our waiter sighed and rolled his eyes when we politely asked for a bottle of water and a doggy bag! Furthermore, we were charged for the Parmesan cheese in our pasta carbonara without being informed... why not charge for salt and pepper while they're at it?
