Café Jean sur Roubaix

It's not that far from Brussels. With La Condition Publique nearby, Roubaix is ​​fantastic, especially for eating at this place that makes the best Welsh rarebit on earth. The owner, who is also an artist and photographer, provides creative and cheerful service. I'll definitely be going back soon and inviting some friends.

We went for lunch on Saturday, June 27th at Café Jean. Excellent brasserie! Delicious and flavorful dishes! The tarte tatin was amazing with a scoop of mango ice cream 😉 The owner was really friendly. A lovely experience after shopping at Mac Arthur Glen. We'll definitely be back!

After all these positive reviews, We wanted to see for ourselves...and they're all true! 😂 The welcome was fantastic, the atmosphere friendly and cheerful; we were made to feel comfortable from the moment we walked in until the bill arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, the owner was always attentive and smiling, and the photos are gorgeous! 😉 We had a truly wonderful time and we 100% recommend this place. For the chocolate mousse, don't scrape the glass all the way to the table! 🤣🤣 I'm saving my tarte tatin for next time! 🤣🤣 A big thank you for this wonderful experience!

The meat was far too tough; I couldn't cut it... And the glasses should be washed better... It's a shame because the owner is friendly and smiling. 🤔😒
