I would like to leave a review and offer some thoughts. Obviously as it's not currently open I'm referring to previous visits.
Very nice view and friendly service.
Many walks are possible in the surrounding area. You can cycle there.
Parking is convenient and free.
It is one of the rare restaurants in the Saint Etienne area to cook grated meats in a traditional way in the pan 🍳 and not in the fryer. Likewise, there is no harsh taste that remains in the mouth.
Cutting the potatoes is neither too fine nor too coarse, like with a hand or mandolin style grater. It's true that if there are a lot of people.... well, when it's time to fire, the kitchen staff certainly can't have time to "dry" properly.
So if you want real fun, you have to avoid busy days, just common sense.
For more profitability, now in the region, we generally only serve classic white ham cooked in a cloth as it is sold almost everywhere. To make it faster, it's more sausage sliced in advance and vacuum-packed, which is offered and not terrine, the cut of which cannot be made three days in advance and vacuum-packed, as this would crush the portions.
You can find classic gratin dauphinois and frozen Métro-style bourguignon almost everywhere. As for desserts, we now have a bit of homemade desserts.
Wanting to continue to serve cuisine 🍽 while respecting regional gastronomy, unfortunately can only be done at prices at the level of Marcon.
As for showing kids who like to help out for pocket money, that's no longer "politically correct" these days. There is no negotiation on hygiene, especially in the room. I'm not saying that you can do anything around the piano, like in fashionable Asians. The appearance of the cutlery is also very important.
Mismatched plates, well you have to put them in separate piles when they come out of the dish. Same table, same dishes served, same container.
Block access to private outdoor areas with privacy screens and, above all, no trash for professional or personal use lying around. This is such a great source of information. I saw that someone visited the kitchens!!!! To get backlash what's more...

Bon accueil de restaurateurs passionnés, service agréable, nous étions 12, le repas du mineur a été apprécié à sa juste valeur, et même si l'équipe semble débuter dans le métier, et que des améliorations vont évidemment venir, nous en gardons un bon souvenir.
Il me semblait important de rendre justice à cet établissement et à son équipe au vu des commentaires acides et parfois fantaisistes que j'ai lu.

Personnel dépassé par le nombre de couverts. Cuisine correct mais léger manque d'assaisonnement mais sinon c'était quand même bon. En revanche, les verres n'étaient vraiment pas propre. Et je ne parle pas de trace de rinçage mais vraiment de saleté. Le délai de service était correct au vu du monde je trouve ça logique et correct. Sincèrement ça pourrait être top (au vu de l'environnement) il faut juste rectifier 2-3 choses. En tout cas les tarifs sont vraiment intéressant.
