Café Vert sur Lyon

Stranded here today (September 2, 2024). I was spoiled with a delicious vegan wine, risotto and mango-rhubarb crumble. The chef was nice and relaxed and occasionally chatted with acquaintances who passed by. I think that's nice to see. If I ever come to Lyon again, I will definitely come back!

Already two weeks ago, I still wanted to say something about it. We arrived late for lunch and the chef was on his own, but that was no problem. He prepared fantastic vegetarian (daughter) & vegan (leftover) risotto for us. And because it all took a while, we were served some snacks in between. Best meal this holiday.

Excellent atention. The waiter is very friendly and explains the meals to you. There are several gluten-free options. Homemade gluten-free bread with hazelnuts is very delicious!

Impeccable service with a very welcoming manager and seasonal cuisine with very tasteful fresh produce...will I go back? YES.

C’est la deuxième fois que nous y allions, avec comme souvenir des plats délicieux lors de notre premier passage…Entre temps le propriétaire du restaurant a changé, sans que nous le sachions. Et hélas, la qualité avec…Le serveur (gérant ?) est certes bien sympathique, cependant les prix pratiqués sont trop hauts par rapport à ce qui est proposé !! La cuisine est bonne mais sans plus, et bon, une simple compote en dessert…un peu moyen.

Warm and friendly welcome, interesting and tasty dishes. Loved the extra touches of nibbles and limoncello. Worth a visit.
