Excellent welcome and very accommodating; the wine served wasn't very good (too young and green), but the owner didn't hesitate to change it without charging extra.

A very pretty setting in this typical café in old Bayonne, which reminded me of Lyon's bouchons (traditional bistros). A very good set menu for only 19 euros, with the butternut squash soup as a starter being particularly comforting in the cold weather. Pleasant service.

The homemade punch was excellent; you can go there with your eyes closed! For the meal, you have the choice between the starter + main course, main course + dessert, or the full starter + main course + dessert, with 2 to 3 choices per course. We loved it and will definitely return! The staff was fantastic 😊

We had a great lunch today. The tomato tart, the veal axoa, the local trout, the super chocolate fondant from Monsieur Txokola… we loved everything. Thank you for the warm welcome!

15/02/2026: Excellent place. The portions are generous and delicious. The rillettes served as an appetizer were very good. For the ham and tomato, I would have liked two more slices of bread, as there were four of us. The ribeye steak was tender and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were superb. No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfectly cooked and well-prepared. We had a lovely time.

14/03/2026: A fantastic time spent with friends celebrating a birthday. A set menu featuring traditional Basque cider. The staff were welcoming and incredibly friendly; I can't wait to go back.
