Cider house in the historic center of Bayonne. There is a closed or a la carte menu. It is worth taking the menu. Cod omelette, Spanish-style hake and beef txuleta with lettuce. For dessert, nuts and cheese with quince. Everything, with the cider you want to serve from the barrels. Three-story building. Reservations are essential. Very attentive waiters. Without a doubt, a good place to eat and leave more than satisfied.

Very nice decoration in this cider house one star less for the quality of the meat not necessarily very tender. In any case we come here for the atmosphere for the unlimited cider and the cider house menu!

Absolutely excellent meat (really) but a little dazed by the lack of accompaniments, the meager dessert (four very thin slices of cheese), the service (we were not offered drinks)... A little expensive but the meat definitely worth it!

Simply spectacular. The place is super characteristic. You sit in a tavern. Wood, stone, barrels... Very beautiful. The service is excellent. By all the staff. But what stands out is the man at the bar who made the reservation for us and the brunette girl who spoke Spanish and explained everything to us phenomenally. We opted for the "small" menu. The delicious tortilla and the delicious meat. To repeat. A little cheese and almonds to finish and during dinner you can help yourself to all the cider you want. Very highly recommended.

20/03/2024: I tried the bodega at Gilles during restaurant week. A very tempting menu where you don't know what to choose and, in any case, you are not disappointed. All the dishes are fine and delicious. Warm but discreet service at the same time. Bonus for a great non-alcoholic cocktail of the moment, simply divine. I can't wait to come back and taste the usual menu.

01/03/2024: Meal on January 3, 2022 in this very pleasant restaurant. A warm welcome, a very good meal: kalaka salad.. Just.. Perfect.. And we have decent prices... I recommend.. January 3, 2023...we're coming back. Yes...it's still perfect Roasted Camembert with honey. Followed by a lost brioche (not for everyone 🤣) English caramel sauce..a treat.. delicious meal..thank you both for your welcome and your kindness...I persist...I recommend And here we go again..February 29, 2024 day in Bayonne.lunch meal roasted camenbert as good as ever..followed by a cappuccino..nothing changes good food..5 stars..we have no regrets..
