A magnificent dinner and we were so happy with this discovery! A gourmet restaurant, but not stuffy. A fresh, refined, light, and exquisite meal during this heatwave. Original flavors, subtly blending sweet, savory, and just the right amount of acidity, inventive dishes, and beautiful presentations. Everything was delicious, and we tasted all the desserts, all original, perfectly balanced in sweetness and freshness, and not too sweet!

Cooking means colliding technique with pure emotion, and at Caillebotte, this interplay takes place before the eyes of those hungry for innovation. We are faced with contemporary French cuisine that shakes the foundations of culinary tradition to propel it forward with boldness, intelligence, and a dazzling intellectual freshness. The experience, however, isn't just consumed on the plate, but also permeates the physical space: the dining room, unfortunately, suffers from a truly excessive heat due to the total lack of air conditioning, a factor that tests patience, further compounded by the somewhat slow service that prolongs the wait. But when the ingredients begin to speak, the narrative shifts pace and the atmosphere ignites with curiosity.
The journey begins with the appetizers. The flame-seared mackerel, served with Celtic lettuce, cherry dressing, and aguachile, is a marvelous thermal and flavor shock: the fish retains its juicy, proud flesh, jolted by the acidic, spicy kick of the Mexican stew that cleanses the mouth and begs for the next bite. Alongside, the lamb sweetbread meatball in a net with fresh herbs, honey-vinaigrette-cured yellow beets, and reduced cooking juices reveals itself to be a work of old-world elegance, where the fattiness of the offal meets the acidic punch of the roots in perfect balance.
The emotional tension builds with the main courses. The Duroc pork rib, accompanied by mint-infused farro, creamed peppers, and a gin vinaigrette, is a masterful celebration of pork: the meat maintains an incredible succulence, enhanced by the sweetness of the mousse and the botanical touch of the distillate that refreshes the soul of the dish. The marinated veal rump is also splendid, resting on a watercress puree that lends a bitter and spicy note, perfectly balanced by the deep, spicy kick of the red onion harissa. Here, the cuisine demonstrates its mastery of fire and contrasts with impressive maturity.
The finale moves along a path of pure chromatic and flavorful experimentation with the desserts. The strawberry and rhubarb soup, served with an almond "financier" and saffron ice cream, is a dazzling interplay of textures and temperature variations, where the spicy, noble note of saffron cuts through the acidic sweetness of the fruit. Equally captivating is the roasted apricot with small madeleine, thick fresh cream, and apricot and jasmine sorbet, a dish that smells of summer, with the flowers floating lightly over the dense cream. Four full stars for a restaurant that has the audacity to take risks, overcoming the structural limitations of the room to deliver a memorable experience to the palate.

Sophisticated and creative dishes for very fair prices ! For 25€ you can get a healthy and very tasty lunch, definitely worth it to spend 5€ more than restaurants around to get this level of gastronomy

Service is good, the food is alright, not great. The main meat and fish were cooked perfectly but the sauces and the sides didn’t complement the proteins and seemed very random, eggplant puree was particularly off putting in both taste and texture and I generally love eggplant. Wine list wasn’t great.
