I was looking for a quiet place with a terrace for lunch. Fresh, homemade products. I found exactly what I was looking for! The terrace was welcoming and shaded. Homemade cuisine and a daily menu with excellent value for money. A particular highlight was the dessert: cream puffs with whipped cream and chocolate... You can tell they're made on-site with care. The service was very pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended :-)

We had lunch and dinner several times at this restaurant and everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the service, the fish was very good, the frog legs and the French toast were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's an excellent place to eat.

Fantastic time!! The frog legs were delicious...we wanted more! It's a shame that the rude, disrespectful, and haughty elderly couple were there. Kudos to the waitress who was incredibly professional.

Le Gourmandin

12/09/2026: Excellent restaurant in Challans. Very pleasant service. We've never been disappointed. From appetizer to dessert, a real treat. Highly recommended!
05/09/2026: Excellent restaurant discovered "by chance" delicious starters of tomato tatin and salmon gravlax... and a cod loin in a chorizo crust with glazed carrots or homemade fries absolutely divine: aromas, cooking, presentation...we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will undoubtedly return on a future trip to the region....
