Can’t say anything about the rooms as I did not slip there but I had the greatest crêpe Nutella. No time to take a picture of it. must post an empty plate! 🤪🤣

We came on December 25, 2025, a party of 10. We were seated in a lovely upstairs dining room. The waiter was very pleasant and professional, taking excellent care of the tables to ensure everyone had everything they needed. For starters, we had the French onion soup – delicious! For our main courses: sauerkraut, salmon tarte flambée, and an Alsatian burger – all perfectly capturing the flavors of Alsace. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate – the staff is fantastic and incredibly friendly.

Absolutely perfect, a very warm welcome. I highly recommend this place, even though they don't have many rooms, you need to book in advance, and they are suites. Everything was perfect.

A cozy family restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is the lack of an English menu and the fact that the staff only speaks French, which makes ordering difficult.

27/08/2026: We came here for sauerkraut and we weren't disappointed; it was very well served, delicious, and plentiful. The dessert, a blueberry tart, was excellent. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and very professional. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Alsace.
19/07/2026: We sat for 5 minutes, then l a young man standing by our table - never said a word until we asked if we could help him - then we realized he was the server. Put our food order in with drinks. Never received our carafe of water. As soon as the food was served they asked for payment. No issue about that. Then the server proceeded to remove the plates and drinks not served 5 minutes previously. We stopped him and requested time to finish our meal. We felt rushed as if they wanted our table. As soon as we finished our meal and drink we gave our table to a couple looking at the menu. Please allow time to appreciate the meal and drink

Restaurant La Taverne Alsacienne

30/08/2026: A fantastic place, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I must highlight that the two guys who served us were very friendly and both spoke English and Spanish—wonderful service. I highly recommend it.
23/08/2026: First time that my wife ate "flammekueche". It was super. The environment is idyllic. This is the perfect place to drink, eat and enjoy the surrounding. I also tasted the rose beer and again 2 thumbs up.
