While passing through Riquewihr, we had lunch at the Relais des Moines where we received a warm welcome. The dishes were prepared with care. Thank you for your hospitality.

One of the few restaurants we hadn't visited in the more than 20 years we've been coming to Riquewihr. During the Christmas markets, finding a table is a real challenge, but this time we were lucky. A pleasant surprise with excellent traditional dishes, a lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

A well-located restaurant, the upstairs area is cozy. Welcoming staff. The foie gras starter was quite good and well-presented, but the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations.

For potatoes with Munster cheese and bacon at €21.50 and a measly green salad, the price is exorbitant! Because honestly, potatoes don't cost much! And the dressing could have been homemade.

Restaurant La Taverne Alsacienne

02/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, we had a great time. The food was delicious. We arrived at 2 pm and the dishes arrived 5-6 minutes later. The waitresses were incredibly kind and the atmosphere was fantastic. I recommend it to all visitors and locals. I loved it and I will be back.

Au Relais de Riquewihr

06/05/2026: Nice terrase and and the food was delicious. Big portions. Service was great as well!
22/04/2026: We had the broth menu... Um, how to put it... For starters, the deviled eggs, well, we could see there was mayonnaise, but the yolks... The Alsatian sausage salad deserved a presentation that made you want to get closer, the Grandma's sauerkraut served with spaetzle, okay, it could have been nice if they hadn't been swimming in cabbage after being sautéed, all garnished with a few bits of sausage, and I mean BITS, and then of course we got all the pieces of meat with the cartilage, my wife and I had a good laugh because we thought we had been served the leftovers from the other tables (in hindsight, maybe we were right) we won't even mention the dessert which was of the same ilk. Basically, the menu was like a very bad canteen. I gave it 3 stars because the service was decent and the setting was nice. We are also restaurant owners and we think it would be better to change the menus and train the kitchen staff.
