A wonderful experience. The waitress was especially kind and friendly, and she recommended some delicious local wines for us to try. We really enjoyed them while relaxing on the lovely terrace, in a truly unique setting. A perfect place to sit back, enjoy a good glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere of Riquewihr. Highly recommended!

We came here for sauerkraut and we weren't disappointed; it was very well served, delicious, and plentiful. The dessert, a blueberry tart, was excellent. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and very professional. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Alsace.

We sat for 5 minutes, then l a young man standing by our table - never said a word until we asked if we could help him - then we realized he was the server. Put our food order in with drinks. Never received our carafe of water. As soon as the food was served they asked for payment. No issue about that. Then the server proceeded to remove the plates and drinks not served 5 minutes previously. We stopped him and requested time to finish our meal. We felt rushed as if they wanted our table. As soon as we finished our meal and drink we gave our table to a couple looking at the menu. Please allow time to appreciate the meal and drink

24/05/2026: Can’t say anything about the rooms as I did not slip there but I had the greatest crêpe Nutella. No time to take a picture of it. must post an empty plate! 🤪🤣

Restaurant La Taverne Alsacienne

20/09/2026: The cheese platter was excellent, and the wine was superb. The Dominican waiter who served us was very friendly, attentive, and professional.
20/09/2026: Fantastic experience!!!! Everything was delicious (especially the wine, hehe). The guy from the Dominican Republic gave us excellent service! It's so appreciated when people are kind and attentive.
