Great restaurant. We ate very well, excellent value for money, and the service was very pleasant, with humor and good cheer. We highly recommend it.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The quality of the food will reset the bar of what you previously knew as delicious. A word of caution. Every meal you eat after dining here will be compared to what you ate. You will have many good meals in your life but you will always remember this one and tell yourself “it’s no Chai Pascal “. Yes. It’s that good. Equally as outstanding, is the service. Absolute professionalism without rigidity. This is hospitality defined. The amount of flavor in the food is not only a testament to the chef but also the quality of the ingredients. Dessert was equally enjoyable and I just have to add, so was the coffee. Seems trivial but it was the best cup of coffee I had my entire holiday in Bordeaux. If I lived in Bordeaux, I would drive to Chai Pascal for a meal. In a heartbeat.

Excellent food, impeccable and very professional service

What a lovely place! The food and wine were magnificent and the wait staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. My hot tip: the smoked trout and foie gras are divine so if you can, order both with a friend and go halves, or just be greedy and eat both 😁

Absolutely fantastic meal on a lovely sunny Sunday lunch in Saint Emilion. Firstly, the restaurant is a lovely cozy and charming little place in the center of Saint Emilion. The staff are wonderful, fist class service with a smile and a great sense of humor. The food was excellent, lots of choice. My duck was perfectly cooked and my wife's salmon was spot on. The selection of wine is very well thought out, and reasonably priced compared to other places who overprice due to the name of the village. You must try this place if you are in the area, and you must book a table in advance if not you won't get in ! Thanks to everyone at Chai Pascal.

Small restaurant, simply but tastefully decorated. A small menu – very often a good sign. We chose foie gras, lamb, and duck breast. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The service was very friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

During a trip from Bordeaux to Sarlat, we stopped in St. Emilion for lunch, wine and a walk through town. We found Chai Pascal on Google Maps and were lucky enough to grab a table for the four of us. We enjoyed foie gras, salmon and a cheese platter. The food was cooked to perfection. The vibe of this place was soooo French. It was an excellent way to get started in St. Emilion.
