A great place for lunch in Saint Emilion. In fact, I had one of my favourite meals so far this trip. I struggle with how heavy many lunches are in France. L’Absolu had lighter options including warm goat cheese salad which was fantastic. We arrived a bit late considering we had a tour starting at 2 but we were in and out in just less than an hour. We ate inside where the dining room is in a cave. Definitely recommend. Posted this to the wrong profile before. Oops.

While passing through Saint-Émilion, we stumbled upon this restaurant and we regret not having done so. The food was very good, the service friendly and quick, and the price very reasonable. I recommend it.

We loved this restaurant. They were very kind and served us right away. The place is charming and cozy. The menu is very complete, and the local cuisine is delicious. We enjoyed it immensely. 100% recommended.

The staff were very welcoming; we arrived after 3 pm and still managed to get a meal. The meal was generous, even though we couldn't finish it. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent service.

04/04/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant; the food was fantastic, and our compliments to the chefs are invaluable! We ordered free-range chicken and duck breast, and both the side dishes and the accompanying sauces were excellent. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; go without hesitation! Thank you to all the staff.
