What a wonderful discovery this little restaurant is, run by a friendly owner and her daughter! The value for money is excellent, the portions are perfect, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend this establishment when you visit St. Emilion.

I ate at this little restaurant. It's cozy and has a cave-like feel. The €20 set menu is inexpensive and generous: starter, main course, and dessert. Two nice slices of smoked salmon with salad. A very flavorful roasted Camembert. With potatoes, salad, and fried onions. And a chocolate fondant with whipped cream. I was very satisfied; it was delicious.

While passing through St. Emilion, we discovered this brasserie which offered excellent value for money with its set menu of main course and dessert. The meat dish was very generous and delicious. The waitress was very pleasant. I recommend it.

This restaurant offers a lunch menu that's cheaper than its neighbors (€19 or €17). Daily specials, as well as daily starters and desserts, are available. The food was good. However, for my wife, who has a bit of a sweet tooth, the portions seemed a tad small. Go for it!

I absolutely loved L’Absolu! I came for lunch and everything was perfect from start to finish. Traditional, generous cuisine, and above all, made with so much love!!! You can really taste it in every bite. The welcome is just as exceptional: a family-run restaurant managed by a mother and daughter, with a real attention to detail, genuine care, and above all, a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. It's exactly the kind of place you want to keep secret… but it's impossible not to recommend it! I've already shared the address with everyone I know, and I'll definitely be back. Thank you again for this wonderful experience ❤️

22/05/2026: Lovely waitstaff and presentation was impeccable. Intimate setting far from the main square for a leisurely and relaxed meal. The local cheeses were all very unique and all the dishes had a variation of texture, flavors and experiences. The “emotional” menu had dishes seemingly in conflict with themselves but each bite was harmony. My favorite was picking the macaroon beet from the “soil” and seeing a little teardrop shape playful nature of it all. Taking yourself not too seriously by exacting all seriousness felt like how the chefs directed their execution. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I especially loved the hand feel of dinnerware and choice of designer utinsels to exact the feeling of whimsy , but professional attention to detail.
01/05/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday. The food was magnificent, bursting with flavor, the service was impeccable, and the setting was superb. A must-try.

07/03/2026: An entrance opens onto the street, leading under a beautifully decorated wooden roof adorned with string lights. The zucchini carpaccio with octopus is a delight! A superb atmosphere with soft background music.
02/03/2026: I would have given more than five stars if possible. A fantastic find in Saint-Émilion. Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Thank you for a lovely evening.
