It's true that we weren't going to Saint-Émilion to find a fine restaurant.
So, given how busy it was, we were mainly looking for a table for six.
Overall, the dishes on the menu were rather average, but the service was quick and the stone dining room was a bit noisy.
A disappointment compared to other reviews. Perhaps just an off day!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through the streets, and its €19.50 lunch menu caught my eye. I have absolutely no regrets, as everything was perfect and delicious! I highly recommend it!

A typical Saint-Émilion restaurant, located in a cave. High-quality cuisine at an excellent price. Two set menus, one at €19.50 and the other at €31. Friendly, professional, and attentive staff.

I ordered the lunch set meal, and it was an amazing deal!! The quality was very high, and the food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. The foie gras was delicious, the steak was delicious, the fish was delicious, and the dessert was delicious.
