Truly artisan bakery with a wide selection that will please everyone in your party, from grand parents to children 😁 Only downside is making a decision on what to order :) Highly recommend the Tartine and Eggs, a bit more than I needed for breakfast but well worth it 👌

Wonderful food and most delicious cakes… Upstairs is a hidden gem to avoid the crowds.

A lovely place to relax with a coffee and dessert while enjoying breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. I tried the hot chocolate, and it was rich and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff were friendly, and the mountain scenery makes this café even more special. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

The chestnut tart was delicious and had many layers.

A bakery/pastry shop we love to visit every time we're in Chamonix. A tip for the manager: if you open at 7:30 am, have the delivery of products (bread/pastries/cakes) made 30 minutes before opening so your staff has time to set up the display. This will reduce their stress and prevent irritable reactions from customers. Having managed the same business with 14 bakeries, I feel compelled to share this advice.

I bought 3 macaroons pistachio is too sweet - green the white mount blanc chocolate is nice raspberry is also nice - pink you have to go to the cashier and tell them to help you get it

July 13th, Day 8, Part 2: Chamonix Chalet 4810 Bakery, France 🇫🇷 Traffic jam on the bus to Courmayeur gave me a good opportunity to organize my research and write this food review 😂 In Hong Kong 🇭🇰, I mostly avoid gluten to reduce the risk of inflammation and eczema. Before developing eczema, I was a sourdough bread enthusiast, loving its simple, rich wheat flavor. I disliked buttery bread and airy bread. I have certain standards for bread; I won't eat bread that isn't good 😂 When I was a child, I ate baguettes 🥖 in France that were so hard I couldn't bite into them, and bland and tasteless. Because of this impression, I'm somewhat averse to eating baguettes. On my second morning in Chamonix, I passed by Chalet 4810 and saw locals buying bread, so I went in to take a look. I asked the clerk which one she recommended, and she pointed to the Traditional baguette 🥖. So I bought my first baguette of the trip to eat on the mountain. That day, I hiked from Brevent to Planpraz to Lake Cornu, enjoying the view of the snow-capped mountains while eating a baguette. It was surprisingly crispy! The wheat flavor was rich, somewhat like sourdough bread! At that moment, my opinion of baguettes changed. I didn't finish the same baguette in one day; I saved it for three or four days later while hiking. After three or four days, the crust hardened, but it was still full of wheat flavor. I finally understood why a bakery's baguette tastes so good: it's fresh! The baguettes at Chalet 4810 were so fresh! So on the last day at Chamonix, we each bought one. Baguettes keep very well, especially in the dry French weather. Plus, a baguette is convenient to carry; many locals carry one in their backpacks while hiking. Beautiful cafe at center of Chamonix. Their 1st floor sitting arrangement is really nice. Their sandwich, hot dog etc is really tasty. Ground floor they have their take away counter. Really a nice cafe to visit. Really enjoyed their food.

A great place to buy French croissants and desserts. Everything is delicious!

Fantastic ice cream, both in terms of selection and taste, and quite generous portions! A place well worth the detour.
