Located opposite the royal monastery of Brou, the establishment with its discreet facade will surprise you with its sophisticated simplicity. The room is pleasant, the service perfect. Chic restaurant atmosphere. On the menu: • 2 Bresse chickens, morel/Chardonnay sauce + basmati rice? Impeccable. • 1 coffee. Surprise at the bill, a small plate garnished with two meringues and two lace tuiles of sesame seed nougatine. Delicious. On the bill; 69.20 euros Very good value for money.

While passing through Bourg, we were looking for a table for lunch on a Monday in August. We followed the Google reviews and we did well. Free appetizer (gazpacho) then Bresse poultry with cream and finally eggs with snow. A very good meal, the dishes were very good, we had a great time 👍

This afternoon for my mother's 93rd birthday, before the visit to the monastery!! A welcome that couldn't be warmer, beautiful room, beautiful table! Not too fat frogs, a marvel! As a starter, chicken liver cake, Bresse chicken, new potatoes, killer!! Floating island dessert. Everything was perfect, and the view of the monastery!! And also a little candle on Mom's Dessert!! Thank you to your entire team! Thank you for lending us an umbrella during our visit to the monastery! See you soon! We are from Lyon, the journey is not long!!

Pour le trouver, rien de plus facile, il se trouve en face du Monastère Royal de Brou. La cuisine traditionnelle française est correcte, mais le service est un peu long (1 seul serveur en salle). Pour les beaux jours, une terrasse avec vue sur le Monastère sera des plus agréables.

What a great discovery. Excellent service in the room, the waitress is smiling, friendly and efficient. Nice menu of dishes and good value for money. I recommend !

Déjeuner sympathique en terrasse face au monastère de Brou… gâteau de foie en entrée, poulet bressan et panacotta… les plats sont de qualité mais on ne sent pas chez le personnel une passion dévorante pour le client.. beaucoup d’attente (1h entré l’apéro et le premier plat)…et note un peu salée 35€ pour un menu assez basique

09/09/2024: A very nice evening (Reunionese from Friday to Saturday) in this restaurant where you feel at home. Very well received. First of all, a rum mixed with all kinds, then a Reunion discovery menu with a perfect starter mix (accras samosa fish with lemony coconut milk cork....), then 3 hot dishes in a fondue pot (mutton, octopus, rougail sausage, rice) sorry I don't remember the names of the dishes 🤔 which delight the taste buds. a free rum before moving on to dessert. (Lemon meringue tart for my part Very good cuisine, I will return to this restaurant with pleasure. Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity
06/07/2024: First quick pass for a first opinion before enjoying a real meal with more time. We were accepted around 10:00 p.m. which is becoming rare in Bourg. Very decent welcome despite a starter and a dessert. We will definitely come back!
