Great team, good food, amazing view from the terrace

Chalet Caron is the mountain restaurant you absolutely must stop at when you come to Val Thorens! You'll never be disappointed. The welcome is fantastic, the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are delicious and generous, with a wide selection every day. Impeccable hygiene! I highly recommend this place for a great meal and relaxing in the sun after a day of skiing!

The self service has the best food, well served! And all the staff is incredible nice. With places to enjoy inside and outside too!

No need to go to the restaurant next door because the prices are very affordable and the food is excellent!

A huge shoutout to Chalet Caron — we stopped there for a break, and the food was excellent. It’s the perfect place to warm up and recharge before the long descent.

Quick service, but the food is very inconsistent! The lasagna was good, but as for the schnitzel… a tasteless, processed piece of meat, very industrial. €23.50 for that, no less! Too expensive for a self-service/canteen.
