Chalet du port sur Sciez

We had a wonderful time at Chalet du Port! The setting is beautiful and very pleasant, ideal for enjoying a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The beef tartare was absolutely excellent and presented with great care. A real treat! A huge thank you also to the service, which was impeccable. They even took the time to warm up the milk for our baby's bottle. A special mention goes to the waiter, who was incredibly kind, helpful, smiling, and extremely attentive. He is truly a wonderful person who makes the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant!

Impeccable service despite the wait, we ate well. One waiter was working hard, thankfully he was there. Be careful of children running around the tables, even though the playground is only 20 meters away.

Concerned with their customers' comfort, we were won over by Le Chalet du Port, where we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of their meats and their generous portions. The best part: a large terrace overlooking the lake and the friendliness of the staff.

This restaurant had been recommended to me, but I left with mixed feelings. The outdoor setting is pleasant and deserves to be highlighted. However, I found the food quite disappointing considering the prices. The menu is relatively limited, with the perch fillets featured at €33 a dish, served only with fries and a basic salad with a pre-dressed sauce. I chose the perch fillets in white wine sauce, but the dish was overcooked and really lacked flavor. The fries didn't impress me either, tasting like they were reheated. The service was quite slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full, both for aperitifs and main courses (30 minutes between arrival and receiving drinks). In the end, it wasn't a bad experience, but I think the value for money could be improved. The potential is there, but in my opinion, there's real room for improvement.

The service was impeccable: professional, attentive, and friendly from beginning to end. P.S. A special thank you to the waiter, who took care of us from start to finish. As for the food, everything was delicious! The perch fillets, served with homemade fries, were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The beef tartare was fresh and expertly prepared. For a starter, the homemade country terrine, with its accompanying jelly, was simply excellent. To finish on a sweet note, I indulged in a Peach Melba, a refreshing and generous dessert. This is a place where you can feel the care put into both the welcome and the food. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return! I had the opportunity to eat lunch at the chalet by the port with a group of retired firefighters. We received a very warm welcome. The perch fillets were more than decent, the lemon sauce was amazing (lol), and the service was quick and excellent. I recommend it.
