Chez Antoine sur Calvi

Open in February – great, as few restaurants are open off-season. We were the only ones there except for one table. There were always takeout orders. It's in an odd spot near the supermarket parking lot. The ambiance is nil. Inside, there's also very little atmosphere, with upside-down wall lights. The pizzas were fine, and the service was basic, not over the top. We spent €35.

Excellent pizza for Mr., excellent salad for Mrs. Dessert: top-notch chocolate mousse Very friendly service and welcome. A place to recommend without hesitation.

The setting isn't the prettiest, but the food is good and the dishes are very generously garnished. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. The owner can be a little stern at first, but you can get a few smiles from her. Quieter and less crowded than at the port.
