I absolutely loved this Thai restaurant in the 6th arrondissement of Paris! Chez Basilic truly charmed me with its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, and flavorful, fragrant, and generous portions. Special mention goes to the basil duck and the pad thai: perfectly spiced, fragrant without being overpowering, a real treat. The service is attentive, the place is cozy, and you leave wanting to come back. I highly recommend it!

A peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle of Paris, this Thai restaurant offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. For the first time, I regretted not ordering dessert, as the ones I tasted were excellent. A place worth knowing about!

We don't know anything about Thai food really. I can't speak to authentic, but we had chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and green shrimp curry. All three were out of this world good.

Le Phénix d'Asie

08/09/2024: The former Phoenix left after the summer of 2024. No more of those amazing, big fish dishes, no more golden sautéed tofu, or spicy 100-year-old eggs. Make way for a renovated restaurant but unfortunately like many in Paris and beyond, mixing recipes from China and South-East Asia. Friendly welcome, but the Phoenix that we loved is no longer.
22/05/2024: The owner is very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and the prices are good.
