We had a wonderful meal at this small restaurant, enjoying hearty, home-style Basque cuisine (pilgrim's menu). We wanted to try the Basque cake, which wasn't on the menu or was only available for an extra charge, but they generously offered it to us free of charge. The welcome was very friendly and warm. Tourist advice was given with great pleasure.

Simply fantastic! Friendly cuisine in a friendly setting with incredibly kind and welcoming waiters/waitresses, even though the restaurant was full. The food was excellent and we had a wonderful time!

A lovely Basque stopover. Affordable prices but comforting, home-style Basque cuisine. The very friendly welcome makes it a wonderful break on the Camino de Santiago.

25/10/2026: Very warm welcome. Attentive staff. Fast service, but we arrived right at the beginning of service. Arrived without a reservation; pure luck. Otherwise, booking is highly recommended. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.
