Very nice address in Carcassonne, we tasted an EXCELLENT homemade cassoulet in a simple and very friendly atmosphere. The accompanying wine was very good and the desserts very popular! Perfect evening, we recommend!

We had a reservation and chose the restaurant because there is a sign clearly stating that the restaurant is air conditioned. The air conditioning wasn't on and it was hot inside, so we were shown to a table on the patio. The atmosphere is really lacking on the terrace because it was very dark and we felt closed in. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and sure enough, a smoker was sitting right next to us. We had to ask to be moved inside and it wasn't really great but there was no air conditioning. The food was ok but the foie gras was strange with layers of sausage which added nothing to the taste but made it harder to eat. No bread was served with the cheese dish but the waiters were busy getting people out for the start of a concert. We've now given this restaurant two chances to impress, but I guess that won't happen for us. RESPONSE to the owner: It is strange that you do not mention the lack of air conditioning in your comments. I will always have a smile on my face and I will make the best of any situation. I rated your restaurant 3 stars, which is right in the middle. I never said the food was terrible, but the foie gras was a little different from what I've experienced and I'm not used to having to cut it with a knife to eat it.

Det var ganske kaldt i lokalet. Det fantes bare to typer rødvin på glass, og ingen av disse smakte noe særlig, så vi gikk for hvitvin i stedet. Maten var helt OK. Det var få gjester på en fredag i april. Vi tenker at stedet er litt oppskrytt.

A happy return visit to this place after seven months As ever, the food (Pierre) was great and the service (Siham) impeccable. On entrance I was the only diner and Pierre gave me a knowing look (not always a good sign in my case). Pierre noticed I was reading and asked me whether the book was any good Then he said was it as good as this one and proceeded to retrieve a book I had left there last September. How classy of them I've been to many a restaurant that pretends they can't find your coat or umbrella so this is truly exceptional and heart warming Merci encore Pierre et Siham
