Divine. We were looking for a quality restaurant in the city of Carcassonne that wasn't a tourist trap. We booked online (which was very convenient) and received a confirmation message shortly after. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but it delights you from the moment you enter until you leave. It exudes a real charm. The interior decor is elegant, reflecting the grandeur of the city. The outdoor patio is very charming; we were able to chat all evening without being disturbed by the ambient noise. And what about the meal? We were blown away by the quality of the ingredients, by the skill and finesse of each element on the plate. The foie gras appetizer was succulent, the best I've ever had. The foie gras ravioli were exceptional and perfectly balanced. They offer a very varied wine list, for all budgets. We ate and drank to our hearts' content, and the bill at the end of the meal was more than worth the experience. The staff were charming and attentive, even offering to order us a taxi after our meal. This establishment has truly earned a place on our list of hidden gems and will be a must-visit every time we're in the area. We can't wait to take our friends and family there!

A well-crafted menu featuring local produce and attractive presentation. A quiet, very clean, and tastefully decorated establishment with an interior terrace and a well-appointed dining area. The restrooms are spotless. The price is commensurate with the quality. A haven of tranquility amidst the tourist bustle.

My memory of Carcassonne: I ate phenomenally well – and oh yes, there's also a large castle complex there! 😉 At La Marquière, I had the ossobuco: absolutely divine! For dessert, I had a crème brûlée with real vanilla from Réunion – simply divine. And to top it all off, an excellent bottle of local red wine. We sat in the lovely, shady courtyard among olive trees and thoroughly enjoyed the summer day. The service is incredibly professional, genuinely friendly, and not at all stuffy. You feel completely at ease here from the very first moment. And the cuisine is truly phenomenal: they really cook here – and how! A huge thank you to the entire team at La Marquière for this culinary highlight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good evening 🙂 I'm writing to tell you that it was a wonderful discovery in the heart of the city. We were welcomed into a warm and inviting setting, with a shaded terrace and misting fans to cool us down in this sweltering heat. Our little one was thrilled as soon as the misting fan started working 😂. As for the food: nothing to say except delicious 👍🏼 The welcome and service: we were very well received by a lovely person who spoke to everyone as if we were old friends; it was a pleasure to share this moment with him.
